Dark Currents from NewCon Press

I’m very pleased that my very short story “In Tauris” will be appearing in the anthology Dark Currents, edited by Ian Whates, published by NewCon Press, and launched at Eastercon.

This is a particularly exciting publication for me, because it will mean that this year is my tenth consecutive year in print.

Other contributors are: Adrian Tchaikovsky, Adam Nevill, Tricia Sullivan, Rod Rees, Nina Allan, Andrew Hook, Finn Clarke, Lavie Tidhar, Jan Edwards, Emma Coleman, Rebecca J Payne, Sophia McDougall, Aliette de Bodard, V.C. Linde, and Neil Williamson.

The cover, by Ben Baldwin, is amazing. (Huge version here.)

Congratulations on a creative decade! I agree the cover *is* ace; I look forward even more to reading what’s inside

Thank you! The line-up really is great, some wonderful names there.

Is ‘In Tauris’ THAT ONE that Jenny and I read on the train and we cried because of the COMMA? Can’t wait to see it in press. Expect feminist revolution shortly after Eastercon.

Tenth consecutive year, my God. ::is in awe::

That’s the one! FEAR MY PUNCKSHUASHUN SKILLZ.

Some of those years I only just managed a short story, so I’m really pleased to discover I’ve managed to keep the record unbroken. Some lean years here and there!
